Explore flow practise for wellness, fun, exhilaration, connection, release, joy and peace...
I'm excited to introduce a flow practice that is relatively new to me. It's enriched my life so incredibly, I feel inspired to share it here, in hopes that others that have not yet discovered this, can do so, and enjoy the fruits of the practice as I do. For those that have already discovered this practice, if you'd like to play a part here in being another fabulous source of inspiration for others, share with me anything that I can re-post.
So what is MYFD? It's a free flow of Meditation, Yoga, Flow / Fun, Dance. Via my own meditations, I was gifted the inspirational downloads that led me to experiment with this type of flow. I was familiar with all of the components, but they'd previously been separate things to enjoy. The experimentation of combining them together in the same session is wildly enjoyable, and massively beneficial to the health and peace of mind, body and spirit. I sometimes include toning and more energetic exercise and even martial arts practice. Whatever comes, I flow with. The practice is something that anyone can do, and anyone can benefit from it.
I've always loved to sing. I've always loved to write. I've always loved to dance. As an adult I discovered Yoga and meditation. It took many years to incorporate a regular practice into my life. I am eternally grateful for having discovered such practice, it has helped me with my health and happiness enormously. Through my meditation and yoga sessions, I stumbled upon something that I've heard described as a few things, I like the name MYFD as it really incorporates so much of what it is for me.... With incredibly beautiful music playing, I found myself flowing through different aspects of Meditation, Yoga and Dance. With zero structure, completely in the flow of whatever I felt like doing at any given moment, stretching for times, then moving in ecstatic dance, then perhaps sitting in mediation, and continuing on with whatever flows through me, I've experienced immense joy through this practice and am sharing it here, essentially to pass it on. Maybe you've already found yourself doing the same. Or maybe it sounds intriguing... I'm no professional when it comes to Yoga, dance and meditation, far far from it. But even at my stage, I feel the massive joy and benefits first hand. My videos, to be posted here are amateur, but you get the idea. For now I'm including an old hula hoop jam as a space holder, stay tuned for my MYFD's!! Enjoy, be free, and flow in MYFD!
